Why companies book a game truck
Most corporate entertainment needs a room, a tech check and someone from your team to run it. Ours parks outside, brings its own power and comes with its own host. Guests walk over, play for a few rounds and come back to the party talking about it.

Corporate holiday party entertainment that people actually join
Holiday parties live or die on whether people mingle. A gaming theatre outside the door gives everyone something easy to do, whether it's a quick race between departments or a whole kids' zone while parents enjoy the party. Here are the four holiday formats companies book most.
A tournament people actually stay for. We run a holiday bracket on racing or party games with a live leaderboard, and your team cheers from the door.

- Department vs department rounds
- Prizes for the winners if you want them

Corporate & holiday party questions
What are good corporate holiday party ideas in Toronto?
Pick something people can join without a sign-up sheet or a skill level. A video game truck works for both kinds of holiday party: a staff tournament with a live leaderboard for adults, or a kids' zone at a family holiday party so employees can relax while their kids play. Gamers Getaway parks a heated mobile gaming theatre outside your office or venue anywhere in Toronto and the GTA, with up to 15 players at a time and a Game Coach running it.
Can you run a kids' zone at our company holiday party?
Yes. It's one of our most common corporate bookings. The Game Coach runs short rotations so every child gets a turn, picks games that suit their ages, and stays inside with the kids for the whole event while parents enjoy the party.
Does the game truck work in winter?
Yes. The trailer is climate-controlled and heated, so guests play comfortably in December and January. It brings its own power, and it parks outside in your lot or on the street, so nothing needs to come inside your venue. Just keep about 3 to 4 car lengths clear of snow.
How far ahead should we book for a December holiday party?
Book as early as you can, ideally by October or early November. Holiday parties bunch up on December Fridays and Saturdays, so those are the first dates to go.
How many people can play at once?
Up to 15 players at the same time on PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and VR. For bigger groups, the Game Coach runs timed turns or a bracket so the line keeps moving.
Is Gamers Getaway insured for corporate events?
Yes. We carry $5 million in commercial general liability insurance and can send a certificate for your venue, landlord or property manager.
Are your staff background-checked?
Yes. Every Game Coach passes a police vulnerable sector check and a criminal record check, and everyone who tows our trailers has a clean driver's abstract on file.
How much space and setup do you need?
About 3 to 4 car lengths (roughly 30 to 32 feet) of flat parking for the pickup and trailer, in a lot, a driveway or a closed street. We don't lower a rear ramp, so nothing extra is needed behind the trailer. We arrive 20 to 30 minutes early to set up, so your booked time is all playing time.
How much does a game truck cost for a corporate event?
Our packages run 90 minutes, 2 hours or 3 hours, plus a travel fee based on your city and HST. Longer events, multiple sessions and public activations are quoted per event. Send us your date, location and headcount and we'll reply with a full quote.
Do you do team building events in Toronto?
Yes. We run team-vs-team challenges, brackets and timed leaderboards for staff events, offsites and company family days across Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham and the rest of the GTA.
