Camp, daycare and after-school events in Newmarket
Camps, daycares and after-school programs are a natural fit for a game truck. The trailer parks in your lot, the Game Coach runs groups of up to 15 through in rotations, and your staff keep supervising as usual. Nothing needs setting up inside your building.
Weekday mornings and early afternoons are usually the easiest slots to get, which suits most camp and daycare schedules. For a whole-camp day, the 3-hour package leaves time to cycle several groups.

Newmarket neighbourhoods we cover
We bring the truck anywhere in Newmarket at the same flat travel rate, from downtown and Main Street out to Stonehaven, Summerhill Estates and Woodland Hill. Driveways in Summerhill Estates, Stonehaven and Woodland Hill take the trailer easily; the older streets around Main Street and downtown can be tighter, in which case we park curbside. That covers Newmarket's L3X and L3Y postal codes.
Schools, parks and community events in Newmarket
We bring the truck to school fun fairs and PA days for the York Region District School Board and the York Catholic District School Board. Community and camp days at spots like Fairy Lake Park, Riverwalk Commons, the Magna Centre and Ray Twinney Recreation Complex work well too; the Town of Newmarket handles vehicle access in its parks, so check that first. Comparing a game truck to a Newmarket party place
The usual Newmarket birthday is a trampoline park, an indoor playground or a community centre room. Here's how a game truck compares.
| Video game truck | Party venue | |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Your driveway or street | Everyone drives there |
| Start time | Any open slot you pick | The venue's schedule |
| Weather | Climate-controlled, rain or shine | Fine indoors |
| Clean-up | None, we pack up and leave | Depends on the venue |
Questions Newmarket parents ask us
How much does a game truck cost in Newmarket?
Packages start at $429 for 90 minutes, $479 for two hours and $629 for three, plus a flat travel charge to Newmarket and HST. The travel rate is the same wherever you are in town. The exact total for your date, travel included, shows on the booking page before you pay anything.
Will the truck fit in a Newmarket driveway?
Almost always. We need about 30 to 32 feet, roughly three car lengths, on a reasonably flat surface. Most driveways in Summerhill Estates, Stonehaven and Woodland Hill take it comfortably. The older streets around Main Street and downtown can be tighter, in which case we park curbside instead. Send us a photo of the spot beforehand if you're unsure and we'll confirm.
Can a Newmarket camp or daycare book the game truck?
Yes. We set up in your parking lot and run groups through in rotations, up to 15 players at a time, while your staff supervise. Tell us how many kids and their ages when you book and we'll suggest the right package length. Our school and camp page has more detail.
Can you come to a Newmarket school, park or community centre?
Yes, and we do a lot of them: fun fairs, PA days, graduations and camp activity days for schools in the York Region District School Board and the York Catholic District School Board. For a Newmarket park or community centre, such as Fairy Lake Park, Riverwalk Commons, the Magna Centre or Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, check with the Town of Newmarket about vehicle access first; for a school, the principal or board facilities office can approve the spot. We provide insurance certificates on request. We bring our own power, so a field with no outlet is not a problem. See our school events page for how school bookings work.
What happens if it rains on party day?
The party goes ahead. Everyone plays inside the climate-controlled trailer, so rain, heat and cold don't matter. The only thing guests need is a short walk from the house to the door.
Do I need to provide power or Wi-Fi?
No. The truck runs on its own power and brings its own internet, so you don't need an outlet, an extension cord or your Wi-Fi password.
How far ahead should I book in Newmarket?
Weekend afternoons from April to October go first, so aim for three to four weeks ahead for those. Weeknights and the winter months are easier, often with a week's notice. The booking calendar only shows open slots, so you'll see straight away what's still free.
What age is a video game truck party best for?
Six to sixteen is the sweet spot, and most Newmarket birthdays we run are eight to thirteen. Younger groups do fine because the Game Coach picks simpler titles like Mario Kart, Minecraft and Just Dance and keeps the rotation moving. We also run adult and corporate bookings, where the sports and retro games get the most play.
What are some good birthday party ideas in Newmarket?
The usual options are trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds, bowling and booking a room at a Newmarket community centre. They work, but you're on the venue's clock, you have to get everyone there, and you're often cleaning up afterwards. A video game truck comes to your address instead, so there's no venue to book, no driving and nothing to tidy when it leaves. For more, see our birthday ideas by age.
Do you serve the rest of York Region?
We do. Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Richmond Hill and Vaughan, along with neighbouring Bradford are all regular stops, each with their own travel rate. Pick your city on the booking form and the fee is worked out for you.
