Adult, staff and corporate game truck events in Oshawa
A game truck isn't only for kids. Workplaces book us for staff appreciation days and family days, and adults book us for their own birthdays, where the sports titles, racing games and retro classics get the most play. The Game Coach can set up a tournament, so the office rivalry finally gets settled.
We bring our own power, so a corporate parking lot works as well as a driveway. See our corporate events page for how workplace bookings run.

Oshawa neighbourhoods we cover
We bring the truck anywhere in Oshawa at the same flat travel rate, from Lakeview and Central Oshawa up through Samac and Pinecrest to Windfields, Kedron and Taunton North. Driveways in Windfields, Kedron and Taunton North take the trailer easily; the older streets in Central Oshawa and around Lakeview can be tighter, in which case we park curbside. That covers every Oshawa postal code: L1G, L1H, L1J, L1K and L1L.
Schools, parks and community events in Oshawa
We bring the truck to school fun fairs and PA days for the Durham District School Board and the Durham Catholic District School Board. Community and camp days at spots like Lakeview Park, the Legends Centre, the Delpark Homes Centre and the Civic Recreation Complex work well too; the City of Oshawa handles vehicle access in its parks, so check that first. How an Oshawa party runs
- Pick your date online. The calendar only shows open times, and you'll see the full price, travel included, before paying.
- The truck pulls up early. We park, level the trailer and have the games running before your first guest arrives.
- Kids play, the Game Coach runs it. Teams, turns and game picks are handled, so you can look after the cake and the parents.
- We leave nothing behind. When time's up we pack away and drive off; there's no clean-up on your side.
Comparing a game truck to an Oshawa party place
Most Oshawa parents weigh a game truck against a trampoline park, bowling or an indoor playground. Here's the difference in practice.
| Video game truck | Party venue | |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Your driveway or street | Everyone drives there |
| Start time | Any open slot you pick | The venue's schedule |
| Weather | Climate-controlled, rain or shine | Fine indoors |
| Clean-up | None, we pack up and leave | Depends on the venue |
Oshawa game truck FAQ
How much is a video game truck party in Oshawa?
Packages start at $429 for 90 minutes, $479 for two hours and $629 for three, plus a flat travel charge to Oshawa and HST. The travel rate is the same wherever you are in town. The exact total for your date, travel included, shows on the booking page before you pay anything.
Will the truck fit in an Oshawa driveway?
Almost always. We need about 30 to 32 feet, roughly three car lengths, on a reasonably flat surface. Most driveways in Windfields, Kedron and Taunton North take it comfortably. The older streets in Central Oshawa and around Lakeview can be tighter, in which case we park curbside instead. Send us a photo of the spot beforehand if you're unsure and we'll confirm.
Do you do adult or corporate game truck events in Oshawa?
Yes. Staff appreciation days, company family days and adult birthdays are all regular bookings. We can set up in a workplace parking lot and provide an insurance certificate if your building asks for one.
Can you come to an Oshawa school, park or community centre?
Yes, and we do a lot of them: fun fairs, PA days, graduations and camp activity days for schools in the Durham District School Board and the Durham Catholic District School Board. For an Oshawa park or community centre, such as Lakeview Park, the Legends Centre, the Delpark Homes Centre or the Civic Recreation Complex, check with the City of Oshawa about vehicle access first; for a school, the principal or board facilities office can approve the spot. We provide insurance certificates on request. We bring our own power, so a field with no outlet is not a problem. See our school events page for how school bookings work.
Can a game truck party go ahead in bad weather?
The party goes ahead. Everyone plays inside the climate-controlled trailer, so rain, heat and cold don't matter. The only thing guests need is a short walk from the house to the door.
Does the game truck need power from my house?
No. We bring our own generator and our own internet, so nothing gets plugged into your house and the truck can park anywhere with enough flat space.
How early should I book a game truck in Oshawa?
Weekend afternoons from April to October go first, so aim for three to four weeks ahead for those. Weeknights and the winter months are easier, often with a week's notice. The booking calendar only shows open slots, so you'll see straight away what's still free.
What ages is a game truck party good for?
Six to sixteen is the sweet spot, and most Oshawa birthdays we run are eight to thirteen. Younger groups do fine because the Game Coach picks simpler titles like Mario Kart, Minecraft and Just Dance and keeps the rotation moving. We also run adult and corporate bookings, where the sports and retro games get the most play.
What's an easy birthday party idea in Oshawa?
The usual options are trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds, bowling and booking a room at an Oshawa community centre. They work, but you're on the venue's clock, you have to get everyone there, and you're often cleaning up afterwards. A video game truck comes to your address instead, so there's no venue to book, no driving and nothing to tidy when it leaves. For more, see our birthday ideas by age.
Do you serve the rest of Durham Region?
We do. Whitby, Ajax, Pickering and Bowmanville are all regular stops, each with their own travel rate. Pick your city on the booking form and the fee is worked out for you.
