Gaming bus or game truck: common questions
Is a gaming bus better than a game truck?
Not automatically. A bigger gaming bus has more seats, but it also needs 6 or more parking spots, and a long aisle is harder for one host to supervise. For most birthday parties, what matters more is whether the company is insured, whether staff are police-checked, how many kids actually play at once, and whether someone runs the party. Gamers Getaway's compact gaming theatre fits in about 3 to 4 car lengths and has up to 15 kids playing at the same time.
What's the difference between a video game bus and a game truck?
A video game bus is usually a converted coach or school bus with screens inside. A game truck is often a gaming trailer towed by a pickup, like Gamers Getaway's. Both bring video games to your home or event. The trailer needs less parking and can fit more streets, while a bus has a longer interior.
How much parking does a gaming bus need?
Many full-size gaming buses need 6 or more car lengths of curb or driveway. The Gamers Getaway pickup and trailer need about 3 to 4 car lengths, and we don't lower a rear ramp during the party, so there's no extra room needed behind the trailer.
Is Gamers Getaway insured?
Yes. Gamers Getaway carries $5 million in commercial general liability insurance. Schools, camps, condo boards and municipal events can request our insurance certificate.

Yes. Every Game Coach passes a police vulnerable sector check and a criminal record check. Everyone who tows our trailers also has a clean driver's abstract on file.
How many kids can play in the Gamers Getaway game truck?
Up to 15 kids play at the same time on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and VR. For bigger guest lists, the Game Coach runs short rotations so everyone gets fair turns.
