If you'd rather stay home, a climate-controlled video game truck parks outside and keeps up to 15 kids warm and playing at once, without anyone driving across the city in the snow.

As of October 2026, no. The Ontario Science Centre's original Don Mills building closed in 2024. It reopened at an interim location at Harbourfront Centre in June 2026, but its website doesn't list birthday parties. For a science-themed party, a Mad Science show at home or a guided ROM tour are good alternatives.
Yes. Mobile party services bring the entertainment to you and leave with it. A video game truck parks on your driveway or street, needs about 30 to 32 feet of space (3 car lengths), and keeps the gaming outside your house. A Mad Science show sets up and cleans up inside in about an hour.
We checked every venue's own website on October 1, 2026 for prices, ages and what's included. Prices are before tax and can change, so confirm with the venue before you book. No venue paid to be listed. Gamers Getaway is our own company, and we've labelled it clearly.
