Country parties and small-town birthdays
East Gwillimbury is small towns and open country, and that suits a game truck. Big rural lots in Sharon, Queensville and around Mount Albert usually have room to spare, and because the truck brings its own power, it can park wherever the ground is firm and level, not just near the house.
It also saves loading a car full of excited kids for the drive to a venue in Newmarket or Aurora. The party comes to your lane instead.

East Gwillimbury communities we cover
We bring the truck anywhere in East Gwillimbury at the same flat travel rate, from Holland Landing and River Drive Park across to Sharon, Queensville and Mount Albert. Driveways in the newer Sharon and Queensville subdivisions and most rural lots take the trailer easily; a few older streets in Holland Landing and Mount Albert village can be tighter, in which case we park curbside. On the booking form, pick Sharon if you're in Sharon and East Gwillimbury for everywhere else.
Schools, parks and community events in East Gwillimbury
We bring the truck to school fun fairs and PA days for the York Region District School Board and the York Catholic District School Board. Community and camp days at spots like Holland Landing Community Centre and Mount Albert Community Centre work well too; the Town of East Gwillimbury handles vehicle access in its parks, so check that first. Comparing a game truck to an East Gwillimbury party place
Most East Gwillimbury parents weigh a game truck against a trampoline park, bowling or an indoor playground. Here's the difference in practice.
| Video game truck | Party venue | |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Your driveway or street | Everyone drives there |
| Start time | Any open slot you pick | The venue's schedule |
| Weather | Climate-controlled, rain or shine | Fine indoors |
| Clean-up | None, we pack up and leave | Depends on the venue |
East Gwillimbury game truck FAQ
How much does a game truck cost in East Gwillimbury?
Packages start at $429 for 90 minutes, $479 for two hours and $629 for three, plus a flat travel charge to East Gwillimbury and HST. The travel rate is the same wherever you are in town. The exact total for your date, travel included, shows on the booking page before you pay anything.
Will the truck fit in an East Gwillimbury driveway?
Almost always. We need about 30 to 32 feet, roughly three car lengths, on a reasonably flat surface. Most driveways in the newer Sharon and Queensville subdivisions and most rural lots take it comfortably. A few older streets in Holland Landing and Mount Albert village can be tighter, in which case we park curbside instead. Send us a photo of the spot beforehand if you're unsure and we'll confirm.
Can the truck park on a gravel or grass lot in East Gwillimbury?
Gravel is fine. Grass works when it's firm and dry, but after heavy rain soft ground can be a problem, so a driveway or gravel pad is safer. We need about 30 to 32 feet of reasonably level space. Send a photo if you're unsure.
Can you come to an East Gwillimbury school, park or community centre?
Yes, and we do a lot of them: fun fairs, PA days, graduations and camp activity days for schools in the York Region District School Board and the York Catholic District School Board. For an East Gwillimbury park or community centre, such as Holland Landing Community Centre or Mount Albert Community Centre, check with the Town of East Gwillimbury about vehicle access first; for a school, the principal or board facilities office can approve the spot. We provide insurance certificates on request. We bring our own power, so a field with no outlet is not a problem. See our school events page for how school bookings work.
Can a game truck party go ahead in bad weather?
Yes. The gaming happens inside a heated and air-conditioned trailer, so a rainy afternoon, a heat wave or a January birthday all run the same way. Keep a towel by the door for wet shoes and you're set.
Do I need to provide power or Wi-Fi?
No. We bring our own generator and our own internet, so nothing gets plugged into your house and the truck can park anywhere with enough flat space.
How early should I book a game truck in East Gwillimbury?
Weekend afternoons from April to October go first, so aim for three to four weeks ahead for those. Weeknights and the winter months are easier, often with a week's notice. The booking calendar only shows open slots, so you'll see straight away what's still free.
What age is a video game truck party best for?
Six to sixteen is the sweet spot, and most East Gwillimbury birthdays we run are eight to thirteen. Younger groups do fine because the Game Coach picks simpler titles like Mario Kart, Minecraft and Just Dance and keeps the rotation moving. We also run adult and corporate bookings, where the sports and retro games get the most play.
What's an easy birthday party idea in East Gwillimbury?
The usual options are trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds, bowling and booking a room at an East Gwillimbury community centre. They work, but you're on the venue's clock, you have to get everyone there, and you're often cleaning up afterwards. A video game truck comes to your address instead, so there's no venue to book, no driving and nothing to tidy when it leaves. For more, see our birthday ideas by age.
Do you serve the rest of York Region?
We do. Newmarket and Aurora, along with neighbouring Georgina and Bradford are all regular stops, each with their own travel rate. Pick your city on the booking form and the fee is worked out for you.
