Almost always. We need about 30 to 32 feet, roughly three car lengths, on a reasonably flat surface. Most driveways in the newer Southfields Village, Mayfield West and north Bolton subdivisions take it comfortably. A few of the older streets in Bolton's village core can be tighter, in which case we park curbside instead. Send us a photo of the spot beforehand if you're unsure and we'll confirm.

Yes, and long rural driveways are often the easiest setups we do. We need about 30 to 32 feet of firm, reasonably flat ground. Gravel is fine; soft grass or a steep slope isn't, especially after rain. The truck runs on its own power, so it doesn't matter how far it is from the house. If the driveway is long or has a tight turn off the road, send us a photo and we'll confirm.

Yes, and we do a lot of them: fun fairs, PA days, graduations and camp activity days for schools in the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. For a Caledon park or community centre, such as Albion Bolton Community Centre, the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness, Mayfield Recreation Complex or Southfields Community Centre, check with the Town of Caledon about vehicle access first; for a school, the principal or board facilities office can approve the spot. We provide insurance certificates on request. We bring our own power, so a field with no outlet is not a problem. See our school events page for how school bookings work.

The party goes ahead. Everyone plays inside the climate-controlled trailer, so rain, heat and cold don't matter. The only thing guests need is a short walk from the house to the door.

No. The truck runs on its own power and brings its own internet, so you don't need an outlet, an extension cord or your Wi-Fi password.

For a Saturday or Sunday in spring or summer, three to four weeks is sensible, and popular dates go earlier than that. Weekday and winter bookings are usually available with a week or two's notice. The calendar shows live availability, so it's worth checking your date before assuming it's gone.

Six to sixteen is the sweet spot, and most Caledon birthdays we run are eight to thirteen. Younger groups do fine because the Game Coach picks simpler titles like Mario Kart, Minecraft and Just Dance and keeps the rotation moving. We also run adult and corporate bookings, where the sports and retro games get the most play.

The usual options are trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds, bowling and booking a room at a Caledon community centre. They work, but you're on the venue's clock, you have to get everyone there, and you're often cleaning up afterwards. A video game truck comes to your address instead, so there's no venue to book, no driving and nothing to tidy when it leaves. For more, see our birthday ideas by age.

We do. Brampton and Mississauga, along with neighbouring Vaughan and Milton are all regular stops, each with their own travel rate. Pick your city on the booking form and the fee is worked out for you.
