A Toronto video game party without the venue
Every Toronto party gets the same trailer, the same 100+ games and the same Game Coach, whether it's ten kids in a driveway or a whole school at a fun fair. We've done more than a thousand of them across the GTA. Parents search for it as a game truck, a gaming truck or a mobile game theatre; they all mean this.

Parking a game truck on a Toronto street
Toronto is the one place where parking is the first question, and it's usually easy to solve. A lot of homes downtown and in the east end share a mutual driveway or have a front pad that's shorter than our trailer, so we park on the street out front instead. We need about 30 to 32 feet, roughly three car lengths.
Streets with permit parking, rush-hour rules or no-stopping signs take a little planning, so tell us the street when you book and we'll work out the best spot. Laneway houses usually mean parking on the main street rather than in the lane. In North York and Don Mills, most driveways fit us with room to spare.

Toronto neighbourhoods we cover
We bring the truck anywhere in Toronto at the same flat travel rate, from downtown and the Beaches up through Midtown, Leaside and East York to North York and Willowdale. Driveways in the bigger lots in North York, Don Mills and Lawrence Park take the trailer easily; the narrow streets downtown and in Leslieville, Riverdale and The Junction, where a lot of homes share a mutual driveway, can be tighter, in which case we park curbside. Every postal code starting with M is in our Toronto service area.
Schools, parks and community events in Toronto
We bring the truck to school fun fairs and PA days for the Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Community and camp days at spots like High Park, Withrow Park, Earl Bales Park and Sunnybrook Park work well too; the City of Toronto handles vehicle access in its parks, so check that first. Comparing a game truck to a Toronto party place
Most Toronto parents weigh a game truck against a trampoline park, bowling or an indoor playground. Here's the difference in practice.
| Video game truck | Party venue | |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Your driveway or street | Everyone drives there |
| Start time | Any open slot you pick | The venue's schedule |
| Weather | Climate-controlled, rain or shine | Fine indoors |
| Clean-up | None, we pack up and leave | Depends on the venue |
Toronto game truck FAQ
What does a video game truck rental cost in Toronto?
Packages start at $429 for 90 minutes, $479 for two hours and $629 for three, plus a flat travel charge to Toronto and HST. The travel rate is the same wherever you are in town. The exact total for your date, travel included, shows on the booking page before you pay anything.
Will the truck fit in a Toronto driveway?
Almost always. We need about 30 to 32 feet, roughly three car lengths, on a reasonably flat surface. Most driveways in the bigger lots in North York, Don Mills and Lawrence Park take it comfortably. The narrow streets downtown and in Leslieville, Riverdale and The Junction, where a lot of homes share a mutual driveway, can be tighter, in which case we park curbside instead. Send us a photo of the spot beforehand if you're unsure and we'll confirm.
Can you park on the street for a Toronto party?
Yes, and in a lot of Toronto neighbourhoods that's how we do it. We need about three car lengths of legal curb space. Asking a neighbour or two to keep that stretch clear helps, and if your street has permit or time-limited parking, tell us when you book so we can plan around it.
Can you come to a Toronto school, park or community centre?
Yes, and we do a lot of them: fun fairs, PA days, graduations and camp activity days for schools in the Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board. For a Toronto park or community centre, such as High Park, Withrow Park, Earl Bales Park or Sunnybrook Park, check with the City of Toronto about vehicle access first; for a school, the principal or board facilities office can approve the spot. We provide insurance certificates on request. We bring our own power, so a field with no outlet is not a problem. See our school events page for how school bookings work.
Can a game truck party go ahead in bad weather?
Yes. The gaming happens inside a heated and air-conditioned trailer, so a rainy afternoon, a heat wave or a January birthday all run the same way. Keep a towel by the door for wet shoes and you're set.
Does the game truck need power from my house?
No. We bring our own generator and our own internet, so nothing gets plugged into your house and the truck can park anywhere with enough flat space.
How far ahead should I book in Toronto?
For a Saturday or Sunday in spring or summer, three to four weeks is sensible, and popular dates go earlier than that. Weekday and winter bookings are usually available with a week or two's notice. The calendar shows live availability, so it's worth checking your date before assuming it's gone.
What ages is a game truck party good for?
Six to sixteen is the sweet spot, and most Toronto birthdays we run are eight to thirteen. Younger groups do fine because the Game Coach picks simpler titles like Mario Kart, Minecraft and Just Dance and keeps the rotation moving. We also run adult and corporate bookings, where the sports and retro games get the most play.
What are some good birthday party ideas in Toronto?
The usual options are trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds, bowling and booking a room at a Toronto community centre. They work, but you're on the venue's clock, you have to get everyone there, and you're often cleaning up afterwards. A video game truck comes to your address instead, so there's no venue to book, no driving and nothing to tidy when it leaves. For more, see our birthday ideas by age.
Do you cover all of Toronto?
Yes: downtown, midtown, East York, North York and York, plus Etobicoke and Scarborough, which have their own pages. Pick your area on the booking form and the travel fee is worked out for you.
